Fussy becomes a Certified B-Corp

We've got some exciting news for you - Fussy Deodorant has just become a certified B-Corp! Now, you might be wondering what that means, but don't worry, we're here to break it down for you.

What is a B-Corp Certification?

A B-Corp is a certification that's given to companies that meet certain social and environmental standards. It means that a company is dedicated to making a positive impact in the world and is willing to go the extra mile to make it happen and is all based around using ‘Business as a force for good’.

How Fussy Scored and the Process Involved

To achieve this certification, we went through a rigorous assessment that covered a wide range of topics, from employee benefits to environmental impact and took over 12 months.

We scored 86 out of 200 points on our initial assessment, which is well above the average score of 51. We were particularly strong in the areas of community involvement, environmental sustainability, and transparency but our target is to hit a score of 100 by this time next year.

But the assessment is just the beginning. To become a certified B-Corp, a company must also make legal changes to their corporate structure to ensure that their social and environmental goals are embedded into their business practices. It's not an easy process, but Fussy Deodorant was willing to do what it takes to make a positive impact on the world.
