Fussy Joins 1% For The Planet

Did you know that Fussy has existed for a year and a half?

That’s right, we first launched in spring of 2021, and since then, a lot has changed. We’ve appeared on TV, had hundreds of thousands of armpits join the Fussy family, and seen our team grow from 2 to 12 people.

Since inception, Fussy’s commitment has been to saving the planet one armpit at a time. Our mission is to reduce single-use plastic consumption in the bathroom, and by doing so, help save our beautiful planet.

Now we’ve grown so much bigger, and have so many wonderful people joining the Fussy family every day, we wanted to make that commitment even bigger, and make sure every purchase is  making the most difference possible - which is why we’re happy to announce that we’re joining 1% For The Planet.

What Is 1% For The Planet

1% for the planet was founded by Yvon Chouinard and Craig Mathews, who both decided to give 1% of their business sales back to the planet, even if their companies weren’t profitable. The idea is very simple; companies profit from the resources they take from the earth, therefore they should protect those resources.

Since the company's inception, they’ve certified more than $435 million in support to approved environmental partners.

What Does It Mean For Fussy?

What it means is super simple. For every sale we make, every refill bought, every deodorant case purchased, 1% of that money will go towards helping the planet. For us, we’ve chosen for that money to go into clearing our oceans of single-use plastics.

This won’t change anything for you as a customer. Our prices are staying the same and so are our products, but 1% of all the money we make will now go directly to help clear our oceans

Together We Can Make A Difference

One individual or company is never going to save the planet of its own. Joining 1% For The Planet means we join forces with other like minded companies, pooling money and resources into projects that truly make a difference. We can do far more together than we can do alone
