What are they and why avoid them? Sulphates (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate and Sodium Laureth Sulphate) are added to products to cleanse and foam. But they can strip the natural oils from your skin, so we use plant-based coco-glucoside for a creamy lather that both cleanses and hydrates. As for parabens? They’re a common preservative with a bad rep. We’ve chosen a blend of milder, more natural ingredients instead, like sodium benzoate, derived from corn sugars and known for its antimicrobial properties.
